**We live in an Internet Age, with the World Wide Web becoming an ever-increasing aspect of our lives. And with that comes blogs and social media. That being said, we here (we = management) at the TEAM Sports Network have decided that on-air talent should create a weekly blog post. Befitting my nature, I’m going to do juuust enough to appease management. I have been told that at least ten sentences should do the trick. So, without any further ado, here’s ‘Buckeye Boy’s Bare Minimum’:**
I have decided to trash all the previous formats of this blog. If you liked anything I did in the past, comment below, and the check will be in the mail. Here are some things I’ve kicked around the ol’ gray (grey?) matter this week:
BASEBALL: Other league should start adopting the fun that is the Major League baseball weekend. (*ding 1) I like the Futures Game and putting mics and ear-pieces on players in the game. (*ding 2) Other leagues should try this out, too. (*ding 3)
FOOTBALL: This dead period the NFL is in right now is perfect. (*ding 4) I feel like my appetite for the upcoming season is growing, a feeling I don’t always have when there is some going on every week from February to June. (*ding 5)
PRO WRESTLING: So WWE has brought back some good wrestling minds of the 90s to be Executive Directors of their TV Shows. (*ding 6) Paul Heyman (RAW) and Eric Bischoff (Smackdown Live) are now in charge of the shows structure and content, both reporting directly to Vince McMahon. (*ding 7) The last two episodes of both shows have been mo cohesive that they’d been in months, maybe years. (*ding 8) Better? Maybe not. But cohesive should ultimately lead to better in the future. (*ding 9) And with AEW hitting the TNT airwaves this fall, that’s something the ‘E needs badly. (*ding 10)
